The Industrial Engineering Doctoral Program at the Faculty of Industrial Technology, Universitas Trisakti, began the 2024/2025 odd semester with a hybrid public lecture. This event was held at Building F&G, Campus A, Universitas Trisakti, on the 7th floor, Room 701/TSC, and was also accessible via the Zoom platform, enabling both online and offline participation.

The lecture, titled “Think & Act as an Industrial Engineer to be Excellent,” featured Prof. Dr. Ir. Kadarsah Suryadi, DEA, the Rector of Universitas Trisakti, as the keynote speaker. The event was attended by students from various levels within the Faculty of Industrial Technology, including undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students, and was open to the public. Faculty members from related departments were also present.

In her opening remarks, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rianti Dewi Sulamet-Ariobimo, S.T., M.Eng., IPM, the Dean of the Faculty of Industrial Technology, expressed her hopes that the lecture would offer valuable insights and inspiration to participants, encouraging them to develop relevant perspectives and attitudes in the field of industrial engineering.

During his lecture, the Rector emphasized the importance of thinking and acting as an outstanding Industrial Engineering graduate. He highlighted the need for integration between theory and practice, and the ability to adapt and innovate in the face of challenges in the digital era.
